THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Allied Health Team Lead/General Manager (Performance Focus) to join our team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week), onsite. This pivotal role will focus on driving staff performance to meet our daily KPI target of 5 billable hours per allied health professional. Based in Western Australia, you will play a critical role in optimising team productivity, managing performance, and ensuring operational excellence in our growing practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performance Management: Monitor daily KPI performance (5 billable hours per day) for our team of allied health professionals, conducting one-on-one meetings with staff to develop individualised performance improvement plans.
Schedule Optimisation: Review and optimise staff calendars to maximise billable hours, ensuring efficient allocation of appointments and alignment with NDIS billing requirements.
Coaching and Development: Provide hands-on coaching and training to staff on time management, productivity, and overcoming barriers to meeting KPIs, fostering a supportive and high-performing team culture.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyse performance data to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance workforce productivity.
Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with operations, marketing, clinical leadership and our director to streamline workflows, introduce tools or systems for scheduling, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Team Leadership: Act as a liaison between staff and management, addressing operational challenges and maintaining team morale while driving results.
Reporting: Review and analyse regular, insightful reports to management on KPI achievement, performance trends, and outcomes of improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU BRING
Proven experience in performance management, workforce optimisation, or a similar leadership role, ideally in allied health.
Exceptional management and communication skills, with the ability, to coach, provide feedback, motivate, and influence a diverse team of allied health professionals.
Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving performance targets and driving operational improvements.
Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and implement data-driven strategies.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage schedules, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently.
Tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Nursing, Teaching, Health Management, Business, or a related field (highly regarded).
Experience with scheduling or workforce management software is a plus.
