At Therapy for Kids, we’re with you every step of the way — because every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive in work and life.

Ready to get started?

At Therapy for Kids, we know that transitioning from school to work can feel overwhelming — especially for young people with disabilities. Our School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) program, funded by the NDIS, is designed to guide and empower each participant on this journey.

Through tailored training, hands-on work experiences, and one-on-one support, we help young people build confidence, independence, and practical employment skills. While SLES doesn’t place participants directly into jobs, it gives them the tools, experience, and connections they need to confidently step into the workforce and explore their career possibilities.

How We Can Help with SLES

At Therapy for Kids, we’re passionate about helping young people with disabilities make a smooth transition from school to work or further training. Our dedicated team works closely with school leavers and their families to provide career guidance, counselling, and skill-building support, all tailored to each individual’s needs.

We work one-on-one with you to explore your strengths, build confidence, and create a plan that’s just right for you. Through SLES, we equip you with the skills, knowledge, and real-world experience you need to step into work or further study with confidence. Whether you’re ready to start a job straight away or considering further education, we’re here to help you feel positive and prepared for the future.

Even after you begin work or training, we stay connected to make sure you’re thriving and happy in your new role.
