We offer a range of psychological assessments for children and teens (ages 6 to 16 years and 11 months) to explore learning, attention, cognitive ability and more. Each assessment includes an initial interview, relevant testing, a comprehensive report, and a feedback session to talk through results and recommendations.

For children under 6, we can offer an interview, school observation, and a letter of findings to support school or medical discussions (no formal diagnosis can be given).

Psychometric Learning Assessments
These assessments explore concerns around school-related difficulties and can help identify Specific Learning Disorders in areas such as reading, writing, spelling or mathematics.
Numeracy

Cognitive and Adaptive Skills Assessment
This assessment looks at thinking skills and how these impact daily functioning, such as communication, decision-making, learning and self-care. It helps determine whether a diagnosis of Intellectual Disability is appropriate.

ADHD Assessment
This assessment explores attention, concentration, impulsivity and hyperactivity to determine if ADHD traits are present.

Duration: Approx. 4–5 hours (excluding report writing)
Note: Psychologists can diagnose ADHD but cannot prescribe medication. A report may be used to support school accommodations or to bring to a paediatrician or psychiatrist.

This assessment provides a clear overview of a child’s cognitive strengths and challenges. It’s ideal for those not seeking a diagnosis but wanting to better understand their learning profile.
