Self-funded care, with
no barriers to starting
Self-funding — sometimes called private paying — is the simplest way to begin. There's no funding scheme to join and no referral to arrange. You can book directly and get started straight away.
Who self-funding suits
Self-funding means accessing our support without waiting on a scheme or a referral. It works well for lots of different families, including those who:
Aren't eligible for the NDIS, or don't have a relevant Medicare plan in place.
Have private health cover that doesn't extend to allied health services.
Would rather begin straight away — for example, while an NDIS application is still being processed.
Simply prefer to arrange their child's care privately.
What's involved
It's refreshingly straightforward. No referral, no eligibility to establish first — just book and begin.
Book or enquire
Book your child's first session directly through our online booking, or get in touch and our team will help you find a time that works.
No referral needed
There's nothing to arrange with a GP or scheme beforehand. Self-funded families can book in without a referral.
Full access to our services
All of our services and locations are available — speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology and physiotherapy, across our Perth clinics, plus mobile and telehealth.
Understanding fees
We know cost is an important part of your decision. Our admin team is happy to talk you through session fees and what to expect, so you can plan with confidence. Just reach out and we'll walk you through it — with no obligation to book.
If your situation changes
Funding isn't fixed. Families often start self-funded and later move to another option as their circumstances change — an NDIS plan comes through, or a Medicare pathway opens up. If that happens, we're glad to help you understand what's available. You can explore all the ways to fund your child's care on our funding page.
