About Telehealth

Therapy that meets you where you are

Telehealth allows your child to access therapy from the comfort and familiarity of home — or wherever works best for your family. Sessions are delivered via secure video platform and are every bit as purposeful and engaging as face-to-face appointments.

Our clinicians are experienced in delivering telehealth effectively across all four disciplines. Whether it's a play-based OT session, a speech pathology activity, a psychology check-in, or a physiotherapy home exercise review, telehealth can be a genuinely effective way to access consistent, high-quality care.

Telehealth is available to families across Australia — not just in Perth. If you're in a regional area, interstate, or simply prefer the convenience of online appointments, we'd love to support your child.

Telehealth is available for:

Families anywhere in Australia
NDIS, private health, Medicare and self-funded clients
Children, adolescents, and young adults
Existing clients continuing their care remotely
New clients who prefer online appointments
Why Telehealth

The benefits of online therapy

Telehealth isn't a compromise — for many families, it's genuinely the best option.

Therapy in familiar surroundings

For many children — especially those with anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or autism — attending therapy in the comfort of their own home can make sessions more relaxed, focused, and effective.

No travel time or parking stress

Telehealth removes the logistical burden of getting to and from appointments — making it easier to attend consistently, especially for families with busy schedules, younger siblings, or transport challenges.

Access anywhere in Australia

Whether you're in regional WA, interstate, or temporarily away from Perth, telehealth means your child's care doesn't need to be interrupted. We support families across Australia.

Parent coaching & consultation

Telehealth is particularly well-suited to parent coaching sessions, strategy reviews, and school consultation — allowing your child's whole support network to be involved without needing to be in the same room.

Consistent care through disruptions

Illness, school holidays, bad weather, or interstate travel no longer have to mean missed appointments. Telehealth keeps your child's therapy consistent even when life gets in the way.

Real-world context

Seeing a child in their home environment can actually give clinicians valuable insight into the real-life context of their challenges — the spaces, routines, and dynamics that clinic-based therapy can't always access.

Getting Started

How telehealth works

Getting started with telehealth is straightforward. Here's what to expect.

Book or enquire

Book online or get in touch to let us know you're interested in telehealth appointments. We'll confirm availability and match you with the right clinician for your child's needs.

Get set up

All you need is a device with a camera and microphone (a tablet, laptop, or phone all work well), a stable internet connection, and a reasonably quiet space. We'll send you a link ahead of your appointment.

Your session

Sessions run via a secure video platform. Your clinician will have activities, resources, and strategies ready to share on screen. Sessions are engaging, interactive, and tailored to your child.

After your session

Just like in-clinic appointments, your clinician will provide follow-up resources, home strategies, and any notes or recommendations. Progress is reviewed regularly and goals are updated as your child develops.

Not sure if telehealth is right for your child? Get in touch and we'll talk it through with you. Some children thrive with telehealth from the start; others do better in clinic initially and transition online later. We'll help you work out what suits your family best.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Here are the questions we get most often about telehealth.

Is telehealth as effective as in-person therapy?

Research increasingly supports telehealth as an effective mode of delivering allied health services, particularly for speech pathology and psychology. For OT and physiotherapy, telehealth is best suited to coaching, home program review, and parent consultation — some hands-on assessment and intervention is better suited to in-person. Your clinician will be honest with you about what telehealth can and can't offer for your child's specific needs.

What platform do you use for telehealth?

We use a secure, privacy-compliant video platform for all telehealth sessions. You don't need to download any special software — we'll send you a link ahead of your appointment that you can open in your browser. We'll confirm the platform details when you book.

My child has ADHD and struggles to sit still — can telehealth still work?

Yes — with the right approach. Our clinicians are experienced in adapting telehealth sessions for children who find it hard to stay seated or focused on a screen. Sessions are structured with movement breaks, varied activities, and shorter tasks to keep engagement high. We'll also give you strategies to support your child before and during sessions.

Can I use my NDIS funding for telehealth?

Yes. NDIS funding can be used for telehealth sessions in the same way as in-clinic sessions — the same billing rates apply. We are an NDIS Registered Provider and accept self-managed, plan-managed, and agency-managed participants for telehealth appointments.

Can Medicare be used for telehealth sessions?

Medicare rebates may apply for some telehealth sessions depending on the program and discipline. Please get in touch and we can confirm what applies to your specific situation before you book.

We live interstate — can we still access your services?

Absolutely. Our telehealth services are available Australia-wide. If you're outside of Western Australia, please get in touch and we'll confirm eligibility and any state-specific considerations that may apply to your funding type.
