We'd like to share an update about Therapy for Kids Perth, and reassure the families we work with that the care your child receives continues exactly as it always has.
In July 2026, Paul Ryan became the new owner and director of Walk On Therapy Solutions, the company behind Therapy for Kids Perth. Our founder, Mia Tarpey, has moved on to new ventures, and we're grateful for everything she built here.
What this means for your family
The most important thing to know is that nothing changes for you. These all stay exactly as they are:
the therapist and team supporting your child
your appointments, and the way you book and pay
our NDIS registration
There's nothing you need to do.
A little about Paul …
Paul Ryan
New owner and director of Therapy for Kids Perth
Paul's connection to disability is a personal one, and it's part of why he chose Therapy for Kids Perth. He has worked in healthcare leadership for many years, including as CFO of a paediatric allied health practice here in Perth, and he believes in the difference great therapy makes for children and families.
Looking ahead, Paul's focus is on growing Therapy for Kids Perth as an organisation and investing in our team and services, so we can keep providing the support that matters to families across our local communities.
The same care, led by the people you know
Day to day, your child's therapy continues to be led by our clinicians, the people who know your family and what matters to you. Our clinical leads, Business Manager, Operations Manager and admin team all remain in place, so your experience with us stays familiar and consistent.
Your choice, always!
We love being part of your child's journey, and we hope to continue for a long time to come. As always, you're free to choose the providers that are right for your family. You can continue with us, or change providers, at any time.
We're excited about the future, and we look forward to continuing to work with you.
We're always happy to chat
If you have any questions about this update, our admin team is here to help, and you're always welcome to speak with your therapist. Nothing about your child's care changes, but we're glad to talk anything through.
